SOA Battle Day 2008

For 2008, The SOA chose the epic battle of the Hundred Years War between King John II
of France and the Black Prince. As is usual during the Battle Day participants refought the battle using a variety of different rules.

Awarded to Adam Hayes, in the Piquet game - first rallying the centre, then the left, then leading the victorious charge ...

Graham Fordham won the English Archers ('peasants') Award .. shooting at each mounted wing of the French attack, and requiring 10 on a D10, Graham apparently disposed of both Marshals before they reached the English lines...

Awarded to Rodger Williams for chivalric conduct in the Armati game

And Paul Glover won the King Jean Award for his inspiring French victory in the DBA game.
