The Saxon Shore is Burning

Regrettably, the gremlins have got into the Society’s production process. Please apply the following to fully enjoy your game:

• Counter Sheet: Single-step Roman Infantry units should have a Combat Factor (CF) of 2 not 4, as printed on the counter.
• Rules Section 1.1:
• SAXONI use RED counters
• PICTI use YELLOW counters
• SCOTTI use GREEN counters
• ATTACOTTI use BLUE counters
• Rules Section 5: The “Results” box of “Sea Attrition” should read “If score less than or equal to Sea Area Attrition Value, Fleet is lost.”
• The “When” box of “Desertion” should read “Roman Infantry…stack with more or equal Steps.” The Play Sheet should be amended accordingly.
• Rules Section 13:
• Roman Forts have a CF of 1. It only counts in defence and is never modified by terrain.
• Barbarians attacking Forts suffer a –2 DRM.
• Map: The River Clyde is not shown on the map. Its mouth is located on the south hexside of Dunbreatain and thence it runs in a south-easterly direction for a further 3 hexsides.
